Chocolate and More Chocolate

Is there anything more delicious than chocolate? SO much has been written about it already. It's even been called the food of the gods.

Chocolate is available is so many ways. There's milk, dark, Belgian and even white. There's chocolate covered almonds and chocolate truffles. There's solid chocolate in shapes for all the holiday seasons. Chocolate is used as favors for weddings, baby showers and anything and everything in-between. Is it an exaggeration to say that EVERYONE loves to give and receive chocolate?

There's gourmet chocolates and there's chocolate that you buy at your local supermarket.

But is there really a difference between chocolate that's sitting on the shelf for who knows how long and made to order chocolate - FRESH delivered to your door? You know the answer already, don't you? There's really NO comparision. I am NOT knocking off the shelf chocolate. I have eaten and enjoyed (more than) my share of supermarket chocolate. Obviously, there is a wide range of quality even in "off the shelf" chocolates, some much better than others. And I have sampled quite a bit of it.

But, fresh gourmet chocolate is a not to be missed experience if you are a true chocolate lover.
And you certainly know who you are!

By the time you get it, pre-packaged chocolate may have been exposed to large variations of temperature that could cause melting and re-hardening. So, if you are a true chocaholic, you should by all means taste the difference. Treat yourself to made to order, delivered to your door chocolates.
Choose Champagne or Coffee Truffles. Or maybe Hazelnut or Irish Creme Truffles. Maybe you're a purist and solid milk or dark is your pleasure. Maybe you want to say an especially sweet, "Thank You" to your favorite chocolate lover. There's SO many ways to say something special with chocolate.

Chocolate is a delght and a delicacy. It is a wonderful confection that has been shown to be a mood booster as well as good for your health! You've certainly heard by now that chocolate contains flavenoids. Flavenoids are those delightful things that make green tea and red wine so good for you. High cacao content chocolate has even MORE flavenoids than green tea and red wine! You shouldn't (though I KNOW it is hard) overindulge, but chocolate IS good for you!

Share your favorite chocolate with someone today! You'll be glad you did!
